More Than Jewelry
Alamea was born in Hawaii in the summer of 1991, beginning at small local arts and crafts fairs. We started with silver jewelry and handmade koa wood pendants, sharing each piece with locals and visitors who were drawn to the natural beauty and meaning behind our designs.
From those early days, we knew Alamea was more than jewelry. Our pieces became keepsakes, gifts, and symbols of love that touched a special place in people’s hearts.

Our Beginning
In 1998, our journey led us to open our first Hawaiian jewelry store in Waikiki. A year later, we expanded into woodcrafting, creating jewelry boxes and display trays to hold the special pieces our customers treasured. This blend of natural wood and custom jewelry became part of Alamea’s identity and inspired our continued passion for koa wood, wood rings, and designs rooted in nature.
The name Alamea represents something precious. It reflects our belief that jewelry should carry meaning, beauty, and lasting value.
For more than three decades, our mission has remained the same: to bring together the most stunning elements of nature and transform them into breathtaking symbols of love, celebration, and unforgettable moments. At Alamea, every piece is created with care, quality, and a deep respect for the beauty of Hawaii.
